Reach the Desk

Start a gate card request or ask a permit question

Write to the desk through the form below, or contact us directly by email or phone. A coordinator answers card requests during business hours and routes permit questions to the right track the same day. If you are planning a delivery or an inspection in the next few days, include the project address and the expected window so the desk can check the site record before replying.

The desk is a small team and we would rather give you a useful answer than a fast one that misses the point. Tell us which track you need: gate cards, job tickets, inspection passes, panel upgrade permits, transformer set books or the storm callout rota.

Common questions

How quickly can a gate card be issued?

Requests received during business hours are answered the same day, usually within two hours. A card can be issued for the next scheduled window once the site scope and insurance certificate are confirmed.

Do you handle inspections directly?

We staff the inspection pass desk and prepare the open-item sheet for the inspector, but the inspection itself is performed by the authority having jurisdiction. Our role is to make sure the pass is issued only after the prior stage is signed.

What happens during a storm callout?

The rota owner converts a reserved gate card into an active one and opens a priority job ticket. Routine deliveries stay in the queue and resume once the recovery crew is inside and signed in.

We also keep a short list of reminders that new clients find useful. Bring the insurance certificate for every crew you name, because a card is held until a current certificate is on file. Confirm the receiving lead before the window opens, so the ticket is not left unsigned at the gate. Report a lost card as soon as you notice it, so the desk can void it in the log before it is used. None of these steps takes long, and each of them prevents a delay that would take far longer to unravel.
